We were leaving Khao Sok and its beautiful natural park for the beaches of the Phi Phi islands.
The combined trip - minivan plus ferry boat - was well organised but took most of the day. We were staying on Phi Phi Don, the main and the only island where you can stay. Full of luxurious hotels, shopping stall, taxi boats, tattoo parlours, clubs and bars, the place was cheerful.
We learned that Phi Phi is pronounced as pee-pee, went for a walk and plunged in our bed.
