We were picked by a nice air-conditioned minivan and set off for the elephants camp. There were 6 elephants having been rescued from a circus or hard labour. The youngest, Sunday, was 1 year old, the eldest was around 40.
We spent the day feeding the elephants, preparing food and medicine, cleaning them with mud and bathing together in the river. We had so much fun, and we knew we were doing something good for the community, the elephants and their carers.
